I know that there is no one school that could ever be classified as being the best for all children - it is vital to match the child to the right school. Only by attending the right school will a child develop into a confident, well-adjusted, motivated and personable young adult, one ready for the challenges of life, work and relationships when they have left school.
I hear many adults saying that they had a great experience at xxxx school, so it will be right for their son or daughter some thirty + years later. How wrong they will often be. Their child will have different characteristics, abilities and needs and, let’s face it, times are different and new skills and aptitudes will be required in 2020 and beyond. Schools change. I loved the education provided at the boarding school I attended, but it would not be right for my own children.
