Queen Elizabeth was born third in line to the throne on April 21st 1926 and she wasn't expected to become the Queen. If her uncle Prince Edward had any children or if her father Prince Albert had a son. Then, those children would have bumped Princess Elizabeth even further down in the line of succession. Prince Edward became king on January 20th 1936 following the death of king George V. However, he later abdicated the throne to marry his lover, an American divorcee named Wallis Simpson. Prince Albert then became king and reigned until February 6th 1952 when he died from coronary thrombosis. Since her father didn't have a son and she was his eldest daughter, Princess Elizabeth then became the Queen and has now reigned for over 70 years.
She doesn't have servants. She has assistants, however not servants. That within itself tells you everything you need to know about Her Majesty the Queen. She is a deeply no frills, yet first class, woman. I also don't think anyone in Britain has a work ethic like Her Majesty. She, even at the old age of 94, is bustling with robustness, zeal, and drive. She never actively sought out to become Queen for ulterior, selfish motives, rather royalty was thrusted upon her. The axiom is that Princes are born while Dukes are made. She was a hybrid of both. She never sought the monarchy, engulfed with its Royalty and riches, but rather inherited it. She has however crafted it in her own right, meaning she really works for it and earns her status. Queen Elizabeth rises early and is busy working from daybreak up until past sundown. She has integrity like that, which is why she's aged so well. Only hard working people can age like she has, and she is a very, very hard working woman. Lastly, Her Majesty, aside from being the monarch of the nation which has culturally influenced the globe like no other nation in the world has, is deeply nonpartisan and apolitical. Considering how influential Britain historically was and still is, both within its historical global context, as well as economic, political, legal, and most significantly, cultural. This is strikingly unusual. Queen Elizabeth also doesn’t really speak much in the public. This is odd, considering that she is the Queen.
Queen Elizabeth II is the longest reigning monarch in British history and ranks as the 4th longest reigning monarch in history. Her reign surpassed that of Queen Victoria on September 9th 2015 and she later became the first British monarch to celebrate a Sapphire Jubilee on February 6th 2017. During her long reign, the Queen has seen 14 British prime ministers take office and has met with 13 American presidents. Some of humanity's greatest accomplishments that have occurred during her reign include the first ascent of Mount Everest on May 29th 1953 and the Apollo 11 moon landing on July 20th 1969. The Queen has visited a total of 117 countries and travelled over a million miles during her reign. She also did this without the need for a passport.
